Harley signs a statement that reads "I Harley W. Crawford of Hennessey Ok applying to enter (or file for) a homestead, do solemnly swear that I did not enter upon and occupy any portion of the lands described and declred open toentry in the President's proclamation dated August 19, 1893, prior to 12 o'clock noon, central standard time, of September 16, 1893; ........."

- Harley W. Crawford made a "Testimony of Claimant- Homestead Proof" on land in Enid,OK in 1898. In it he states that he built a 10 x 12 log house the last of January 1894. That in 1894 he tilled about 15 acres and about 30 acres in 1895 and about 34 acres in 1896, the same now this season. Lots 3-4-5-6, Section 31, Lots 1 and 2, Section 32 in Township 20 W (?), of Range 7 WIM (?).
Receipt # 716, Receivers Office at Enid, Ok shows a payment, in full, for this lots, in the amount of $213.85, principal; 36.35 Interest, .75 testimony fee (paid at the rate of 15 cents per 100 words).
Witness at the land office in his behalf are, John W. White, Marion McGee, Elias D. White and William Stairs, all of Hennessey, Okla.
Also an "Affidavit of Publication" and copy of said publication in the "Enid Weekly Eagle" stating that Harley intends to make final proof in support of his claim.
