Note: John wrote editorial's for newspapers for Cresco and Des Moines, Iowa and was a shoemaker in Iowa. John was also a lawyer and Justice of the Peace in Garry Owen he practiced law in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Note: I have been unable to find any information of John after 1880 and am unable to verify the above statement from the Hendrix file.
