Immigratn: The Sarah Ryan letter to Peg noted that William Ryan landed in Quebec upon immigration. Census: 1830 census at Baileyville, Washington, ME enumerates a William Ryan. In the household are 1 male, age 15-20 and 1 male, 40-50. There is one female, aged 30-40 enumerated. Census: 1840 census at Baileyville, Washington, ME enumerates a William Ryans. In the household are 2 males, 5 and under; 1 male, 5 - 10; 2 males, 20-30; and 1 male, 50 - 60. Females enumerated are 1, age 30-40. This partially fits the William and Bridget family, William would have been about 58, Bridget about 40, and the 3 youngest children. James seems to be missing and there are 2 extra males, age 20 - 30. Census: 1850 census at Baileyville, Washington, ME shows William Ryan, 68, farmer, b. IRELAND; Bridget, 50, b. IRELAND. I believe that the older children in the 2nd household are the children of William and Bridget. I am unsure who John is, another researcher suggested that perhaps he is the son of William and an earlier wife. Buried: Find A Grave e-Memorial
