- 1870 census at Cohocton, Steuben, NY shows: Albertus Larrowe, 43, farmer and miller, b. NY; Julia, 27, b. NY; children b. NY: John, 14; Charles, 12; Erwin, 6; Hattie, 5; May 5/12 (Feby). Also enumerated are Frank, 30 and Fannie, 26, Draper. Frank is listed as a clerk in dry goods store. In addition are Mary Fox, 18, b. NY and Catherine Dingle, 14, b. NY, both listed as domestic servants. Frank Draper may be the brother (Francis) of Julia and his wife, not yet proved.
NOTE: The Landmarks of Steuben County New York (1896) states that Julia Draper died January 4, 1864, leaving one son. The census of 1870 seems to refute that.
