Military Note:
On June 5, 1917 Harry Glenn Wilburn registered for the WWI draft, he gives his residence as New Thacker, WV and his birthdate as Sept. 11, 1886 and birthplace as Pearisburg, VA. He lists his occupation as bookeeper for the Thacker Fuel Co., in New Thacker. He states he supports one child and claims exemption because he is a member of the county court. The registrar notes he is tall and of medium build the color of his hair and eyes is illegible.
